OTek Solutions, a digital marketing agency, in Delmas 75 (Port-au-Prince) is seeking a Web Designer.Our web designers are responsible for creating accessible, and easy-to-use web pages, microsites, and apps that are models of clear communication, intuitive navigation, and seemingly effortless interaction. They are also responsible for researching, publishing, and maintaining the display of information for our clients websites and website applications through templates, artwork, design standards, and content management systems.

• Build, deploy, optimize, and maintain responsive websites for projects of all sizes
• Ensure that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browsers, devices, and screen settings, while meeting high standards
• Provide support requests and website changes for clients, including troubleshooting issues and coming up with solutions that align with the clients’ goals
• Work with other team members and departments on style and approach for projects and support requests
• Assist clients with making good decisions that will improve their online experience for their visitors
• Contribute to best practices, workflows, and standards and company knowledge sharing
• Remains current on industry standards in webdevelopment
• Ability to research, develop and propose new technologies to improve application architecture
• Finds and recommends opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Multimedia Design or related field
• Three years user experience and user interface design experience
• Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education
• Responsive web design experience is required
• Expertise and hands on experience with web Applications and programming languages such as HTML5, Wordpress, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP and API's.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design
• Creative with good eye for color, composition and typography
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
